With a steaming mug of hot lemon water near my yoga mat, it is flexibility I seek.
The brain, the soul, and the body flexing all at once is good; of course y’all know this!
Wherever I am, I seek to flex my entire self, so naturally I find myself in one of the most splendid places that are so conducive to inclusiveness as to render my plum sport of “Traversin’ Botanical Gardens” a noble exercise.
The last couple of months I have been fortunate on my daily (most days!) walks to traverse many times the beautiful Alexandra Gardens, The City of Harmony, in the Kew suburb and the absolutely gorgeous Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne. (With the Yarra Bend Park thrown in for good measure.)
There is great value in visiting a botanical garden world. It is a world of much diversity, with so many types of flowers, plants, trees, and animal life that it sometimes seems it would be difficult to live side by side. So maybe it does pose challenges to the blessed guardians of the botanical gardens, as they take care of it daily; however, to those of us who are traversin’ as it suits our fancy through these tapestry’s of humanity’s commitment to love of beauty over many years, the botanical gardens provide us all with a look at a much bigger picture of harmony and bliss, of how the world should look and feel when diversity works together as one…and indeed it is one beautiful world to be in.
Excuse me while I run out to The Tan, OK, I mean a traversin’ walk.
