Let’s Dance
Now would be a good time to flex your mind, body and soul, so why wait? When you flex the body, you engage the mind and stir the soul.
Of course y’all know this!
Just saying the word “dance” can bring a smiling contented sigh. You do not have to be good at dancing and you can do it by yourself, whenever you got a hankerin’ to, right on your yoga mat.
Could be though, we are at our best when dancing with or around others. This would mean that the flexing goin’ on is across the life board engaging our entire being. We be doin’ the social flex dance.
Being flexible comes in very handy for a healthy life out in the world. A good book, I find is a wonderful warm-up and overall good prep, so when when I am out and about I keep an eye our for good books that will give me some back ground and history on some of my favorite activities.
A delightful find, Let’s Dance by Peter Buckman (C) 1978 gives such information on over 200 dances and has over 200 illustration/pictures. Pick a new dance to try, or find out all about your favorites. Take charge in flexing your mind, body and soul!
