With a steaming mug of hot Irish tea in my cogitative corner, it is understanding I seek.
We Coeur de Lune and the Lune Coeur de Earth, of course y’all know this.
While our universe may have 181 moons, it’s that beautiful celestial body orbiting earth at 2,288 miles per hour that I find luminous.
Recently, we were treated to a Lunar Trifecta, a Super Blue Blood moon, the total eclipse that some of us only got to observe waxing or waning because of cloud cover (or snoozed through the perfect time).
The moon is illuminated by the sun. The far side and the near side each get 2 weeks of sunlight and 2 weeks of night. The near side of the moon also receives sunlight reflected from the earth, known as earthshine.
What if that central spark of pure white light, the love force in every human being, pulsates that love energy, like a beacon, to the sun, which is perpetually regenerating, drawing to itself and then gives it all back, rebirthing it back to earth and to the moon, then EARTHSHINE is really LOVESHINE! WE COEUR DE LUNE!
The moon’s a natural light & dark gray color. The sun’s light reflects through earth’s atmosphere of varying natural and MAN-MADE pollutants, smoke, dust etc., making the moon appear red, blue, yellow, orange or gray.
If the moon gives back to earth, what we give it, then it’s lunacy to hold on to superstitions concerning it. Though the moon does apparently pull and tug the earth and us earthlings, some of us more than others (MOON TIME, page 33, CLAN OF HEARTS), the moon could be just reflecting our hearts, which at its core emanates love light, we Coeur de Lune and the Lune Coeur de Earth!
Moonshine? It might beam your heart over the moon, but it would render me moonstruck!
