With a steaming mug of hot Irish tea in my cozy cogitative corner, it is understanding I seek.
There is more happiness in life when we believe love is our state of being, is our own permanent heart condition, of course y’all know this.
Mortal beliefs are interesting. With our ego-mind-self, why do we choose certain “questionable” ideas to believe and at other times let seemingly “good” ones go?
It doesn’t matter if you believe we are born with a personality, bringing into this life, place, and time a set of previous collected thoughts OR are born as a blank slate, subjected to the thoughts, attitudes and beliefs of parents, family, neighborhood, country, ultimately the heavy weight of the “race” mind, because we as human beings have free will, we get to choose what we want to believe.
Throughout mankind’s history there have been some amazing avatars, saints, sages, divine teachers and mystics that realized the truth about divinity, believed and became that truth, that divinity, then showing a way, taught the truth about divinity, living a divine life in the absolute light of love, the absolute light of life.
Seems humans, some with good intentions, albeit with limited understanding, made up lots of rules, regulations and lots of exclusiveness for gaining favor with the divine. Then our own limited ego-mind-self, believing other’s fallacies mucked up everything even more, muddling our thoughts so much that we believe life is meant to be lived in some measure, whatever measure that measure may be from what our ego-mind-self chooses to believe it should be it, complicated, exhausting, painful, to be suffered in all ways we’ve thunk up, when originally the truth of our divinity was simply our Being, our Self, a simple belief and decree of love that is independent and has no need for external man-made-up commands.
I believe love, and maybe that red light, no playing on railroad tracks…
