With a steaming mug of hot lemon water near my yoga mat it is flexibility I seek.
Made a mistake? No worries, just go BACK TO LOVE … of course y’all know this!
Don’t be too hard on yourself when you’ve messed up or slipped up. The more efforts we put into being happy,, loving, kind, and compassionate, then seems all the more shocking when we take a nasty spill to the inevitable knee scrape mistake we make. A few weeks ago, during our truly wonderful Australian adventure, I had a mess up.
Before going anywhere, I believe it’s important to make sure expectations and intentions are clear. An absolute intention of very positive encounters nets overwhelming going-your-way experiences. Expecting to draw into your life really good and helpful people makes for a very pleasant life trip indeed.
Short-Short versions of irritating encounters: small Australian neighborhood post office, rude postwoman answering our questions in a very condescending, “what a stupid American” tone of voice and look… we just chose to avoid this postwoman. A few weeks later… busy holiday season crowded mall… crowded big chain grocery store… we’ve a dozen or so items… another woman shopping in her “own” world, bumped into me, without saying a word she just moved on… this happens, no biggie… long lines for a cashier, we need to pay cash, no cash line for just a few items to be seen. My husband moves in behind this same woman who had “hundreds” of small items in her full cart, with the worlds slowest cashier. The lines on either side of us, as new customers came up, were moved through and out the door faster. I am sorry to say I started complaining as time ticked on. S-L-O-W-E-R still. Smoke was coming out my ears! It took me an hour to calm down.
Right now, we choose, so let’s get BACK TO LOVE so as to prevent being a human BBQ/Smoker.
This has been a deb’s witty ditty on deb’s ditty blog.
