With a steaming mug of hot Moroccan tea in my cogitative corner, it’s understanding I seek.
When love is put into daily practice, love becomes the way of life and is exemplified in all aspects of our lives… of course y’all know this!
So true, love as our way of life would mean taking care of our body temples in positive life affirming ways, providing for and looking out for our physical structure as if there was no difference between the spiritual and material, making us a walking energy mass.
So true, then we’d want to be our most energetic selves. Learning to put love into daily practice by being willing to make choices that’ll accomplish our desired results of a healthier, happier, less stressed, lots more energy life.
So true, most likely on our list of desires for our body would be not to die prematurely and having enhanced longevity with a much-improved quality of life. Doing your best to choose an eating style and active lifestyle that not only will help prevent heart attacks, strokes and type 2 diabetes, but also keep your bones & muscles strong, less inflammation of joints, and keep blood sugar in check. Find what works for you… for instance, I can’t do an Okinawa diet of daily sweet potatoes… NO thank you! However, a Vegetarian Mediterranean diet fits me well, building on my strong foundation of a lifetime of sharing meals that includes fruits, veggies, and whole grains.
So true, whatever you choose will be a result of the love you put into daily practice for yourself and others, through kindness, caring, thoughtfulness, and compassion.
In life, we sometimes are physically, or food challenged … My Mom was able to glean from the sweet landlord’s garden one very long, cold autumn-winter to keep TURNIPS on the TABLE. Putting the turnips/sweet potatoes in with the socks … maybe the dryer will eat them too!
