With a steaming mug of hot lemon water near my yoga mat it is flexibility I seek.
Often, the things we are saying and the things we are doing don’t bring our hearts to light in our everyday lives…of course y’all know this.
Think of that job or chore you’ve absolutely hated to do. The grumbling over taking out the trash or cleaning the bathroom. Maybe we reluctantly get out of bed and make ourselves go to a job, paying or volunteer we find boring or unfulfilling, forcing a smile on our face. Yes, sadly in my many years of volunteering and being of service, I’ve run across some unenthusiastic and sour volunteers who did not want to be there, but others expected them to pitch-in and lend a hand anyway.
At times we seem to grudgingly say things we know are socially acceptable, politically, and religiously “correct”, or behave in a way we are told to behave by any number of authority figures. Here, I am referring to those of us that just want to survive, raise families, get by, doing and saying what is thought necessary to subsist in the here & now and the great beyond.
For life to get better we have to say and do from the heart, which is who we truly are, who we “be”. To find your heart, consciously forgive and let-go of grief, guilt, fear, anger, pride, prejudice, selfishness, and self-centeredness. Know that your true being is love-light which is divinely radiating from your heart. Let love scintillate in everything that you say by genuinely caring, being friendly and kind.
Give off love in all you do, in your cheerful actions and positive moves. As we all know, love is the not-so-secret ingredient in delectable cooking. Say and do love in the common, general, simple, and ordinary, and your life can’t help but glisten more.
Oh dear, my twinkle love-lights stopped twinkling again…get the ladder!
