Choose your path wisely and it will lead happily over time, of course y’all know this.
Paths can present problems and these troubles trip up even twinkle-toes on treks. Not mind thrilling star and earthly treks we venture along with the dangerously challenged fated adventurers from the safety of our arm-chair, but the symbolic and literal mountains that we life-trek daily, the raging waters and black holes that cross our paths frequently.
Sometimes we can get pushed down a path we do not like. Consider the horrible wearisome long walk of the Navajos. Think about the terrible trail of tears of the Cherokee. These sorrowful paths can only happen when we’ve lost our humanity, for no matter how much we can rationalize and make it OK in our minds, the truth is always in our hearts, where we know deep down, or intuitively, that these are not love sanctioned paths…Jesus the Christ would never go down that road.
There have been times we’ve chosen a way in error, not realizing it is a mistake till late; a dark lane, at the very least a bumpy ride that will have long lasting effects that likely will come back around to bite and or kick us in the butt.
The choice of a path must be made with mindfulness and care for it will make all the difference on how successful our journey goes. We have more control over life journeys than we at first think, and in that thought is where we begin by being responsible for each and every thought for these are the very paths that take us through time.
In the classic story, along the journey there will be pitfalls, monsters, and dastardly desperados. We have to find the mystical key ( an understanding of love, compassion, peace, and beauty) for our mission to succeed; no matter the passing scenes, there’s no path like love.
Abort! Abort! That path is not going over the rainbow.
