With a steaming mug of hot lemon water near my yoga mat it is flexibility I seek.
When we understand and know where love lives, in us, then when lookin’ for love it will be a cinch to see, of course y’all know this.
I have more times than I can count, found myself lookin’ for love in all the wrong places, times, people, food, organizations etc., all outside myself, thinking that things could make me genuinely happy, give me peace or freedom.
Of course we all love and appreciate a good read and good food. We love and adore good people, family, and friends. We love and are in awe of good places, beloved art, dance, and music. We love being involved in good times and activities. We say this is all good stuff, that we love havin’, doin’, and bein’ good stuff and we say this is love. We all have personality preferences, the stuff that we say is good, another might say is bad and vice versa. What makes the thing loving or not loving?
True love, unconditional and divine, actually lives in all, through all, and is the center of our being. Love is in every atom of the universe; this is a primal energy that permeates all things and generally speaking the more of this beautiful divine energy that shines forth from all those things then there will be an almost universal opinion of good of all those things.
Things, i.e., places, times, people, activities and so on that appear dark, has had their light covered up by perverted thoughts, acts and choices. Our own perception of any given thing depends on how much love we use or not in any given moment to look at things.
Love lives in us…say, how deep is your love? Let’s put on some scuba gear and look. Oh dear, this skin is so tight I can’t quite reach my fins!
This has been a deb’s witty ditty on deb’s ditty blog.
