With a steaming mug of hot herbs in my quiet enclave, it is wisdom I seek.
Within the human heart itself resides the power of this season, love, and it is truly the power of all seasons.
Of course y’all know this!
While we see, hear, taste, smell and feel the power of love ubiquitously in this season, it is still abundant in all seasons, for the seasons are all phases of one loving nature, and those plum caring notes, daring sharing chords, and kind hip voices, all chorus in a radiant love carol year-round.
This year-round love carol, very well could be, because we know there’s glaring commonality that begs our compassion, not just some times, but all the times of lives.
The brilliant psychiatrist David R Hawkins, M.D.,Ph.D. in his book “Power VS Force” states “Dickens’s A Christmas Carol is the story of all of our lives. We’re all Scrooge; but we’re all Tiny Tim, as well. All of us are both selfish and lame in some areas. We’re all victims like Bob Cratchit, and we’re all as indignantly moralistic as Mrs. Cratchit refusing to toast Scrooge. The Ghost of Christmas Past haunts all our lives; the Spirit of Christmases to Come beckons us all to make the choices that will enhance both our existence and that of others.”
So while I started my December blog a few days ago, I left unfinished thoughts, to go out, and yes…I was making rather merry, and though a bit heavy on the sweets, my time has been spent in cheerful concerts, warm conversations, soulful music, and lively dancing, part of a most joyous LOVE CAROL
I’m very sorry y’all, I am behind my timely post…What? More merry making? Yes!…before I dot another i…
